Andrew “Scott” Eidson (b.1908) was an American artist responsible for many paintings used as box art by model kits manufacturers. This one was painted for Universal Powermaster Corp., New York City for their Revell Ship Kit Model #5012. The original (14″ x 22″) watercolour – above – came up for auction in New Jersey in May 2018 where it sold for a paltry $150.
